The 3ft Coiled Downlead U172/U-TP120 connects flight helmets to aircraft communication systems via U-172/U and U-TP120 connectors. This is the standard (non-ALPHA Eagle) version, compatible with Gentex HGU-55/P, HGU-56/P, HGU-68/P, HGU-84/P, SPH, and other flight helmet systems using this connector configuration.
The 3-foot coiled cable extends under tension and retracts when slack, keeping the downlead managed and clear of controls during flight. The coiled format is the preferred configuration for cockpit use — reducing cable interference during maneuvering and minimizing snag risk during ingress and egress.
