DoD Issued ATAK:

  • Includes built-in firmware for ADS-B plug-in.
  • ADS-B plug-in filters air traffic by altitude/callsign, offering real-time trends, and airspeed similar to Foreflight and FlightAware.
  • ATAK/Samsung phone requires an external receiver to detect ADS-B.
  • No current approved COTS receiver for ATAK—Arcus is the solution, now advancing to Gen2 after proof of concept.
