The 3ft Straight Downlead w/Volume Control U172/U-TP120 connects flight helmets to aircraft communication systems via U-172/U and U-TP120 connectors, with an integrated inline volume control potentiometer for in-flight audio level adjustment. This is the standard (non-ALPHA Eagle) straight-cable version, compatible with Gentex HGU-55/P, HGU-56/P, HGU-68/P, HGU-84/P, SPH, and other flight helmet systems using this connector configuration.
The inline volume control allows audio level adjustment at the downlead without accessing cockpit-mounted controls. The straight cable format provides a fixed-length, uncoiled routing option suited to installations where a direct connection path is preferred.
